The foundation in which our business is built relies heavily on authenticity and capturing moments as they occur; so while we offer guidance in composition, poses and facial expressions - we mostly just want you to be yourselves. We also like getting involved; we have great relationships with experienced vendors as well as insights on timing and lighting when scheduling for photos - so don't be afraid to include us in your planning! We take on a limited number of weddings per year (locally and internationally) to ensure that the proper attention is given to each one of our clients.

We believe in quality over quantity; after a certain number, the repetition in looking at similar photos can compromise the experience of re-living your day. We use our discretion in selecting only the best photos to include in your collection - this usually amounts to approximately 60-80 photos per hour of shooting. All images are delivered with beautiful edits consistent with the Avanew Studios aesthetic (warm, romantic tones) and in high-resolution. And because we believe that editing is half of the work (and we feel strongly about delivering high-quality work), raw images will not be provided.

We want you to be able to look back at your photos 10 years from now and still feel like they properly reflect who you are. That said, it's always better to dress up than to dress down - if you need more suggestions on colour schemes, etc. we'll be happy to help!

We do! In fact, we encourage it. We want to document your story whether it's here in Toronto or anywhere it takes you. As avid adventurers, we're not afraid to get our hands dirty and our feet wet - so whether your plan is to elope in Iceland or to stand in the middle of the Shibuya Crossing - we'll be there to capture it all.
